Young Adults
A Community for Young Adults
Young adulthood can be challenging, especially when navigating mental health. At Affinity House, our Young Adult Program supports individuals ages 18–26 as they build job skills, pursue education, find employment and housing, and develop a strong sense of community. Here, you are not alone. You are part of something bigger, and your future matters.
Support, Skills & A Place To Belong
Young adults today are facing significant mental health challenges, with 1 in 10 experiencing serious mental health struggles and 3.8 million reporting thoughts of suicide. Despite these challenges, young adults are among the least likely age groups to seek mental health services. This gap highlights the importance of supportive communities where young people feel safe, understood, and empowered to take steps toward a healthier and more independent future.
At Affinity House, community is at the heart of everything we do. Through social and recreational activities, young adults build friendships, develop confidence, and form healthy relationships that create a true sense of belonging. These experiences help members grow socially, emotionally, and professionally while becoming part of a supportive community that encourages progress and connection.
