Pivotal is requesting information from providers who are willing and able to provide architectural & Construction Services for our local governmental agency. We are requesting information from providers who can provide all services necessary to build an addition to our existing building located at 677 E. Main Street, Centreville, MI 49032.

Are you working with an Architect?

Do you have schematic designs or renderings of what the expansion will look like?

Do you have a site plan of the existing conditions?

Is there a geotechnical report available?

Will the Architectural work be held by the Construction Manager (Design | Build) or does Pivotal intend to hold this?

The RFP is not asking for fees or costs, just qualifications. Could you confirm?

Are wage requirements (davis bacon, etc.) required for this project?

Were you looking to contract with an architectural & engineering firm solely for design services to be bid to contractors upon completion of the design or were you looking to retain more of a Design/Build set up where our architects and engineers team up with a construction manager from the beginning of the project?

A separate question here would be if you are looking for a design fee and an estimated cost of construction in our response? There is mention to include costs of the parking lot changes/remodel, but no other mention to provide fees.

In your RFP, it doesn’t make mention of the requirements for the cost assembly by the contractors. Do you have something in mind about how you would like to see this? Typically it is asked for a percentage (%) overhead and profit amount. If there is a recommended duration, a cost for general conditions (costs associated with site supervision, dumpsters, etc.)
